MG FA-78 Full Armor Gundam — "Iron Sonata" Edition
The Thunderbolt Sector doesn't reward elegance. It rewards firepower.
The FA-78 Full Armor Gundam from Gundam Thunderbolt, rendered in a colourway that leans fully into the grim industrial aesthetic of the source material. Gunmetal and dark steel dominate the primary armour, finished with enough metallic variation across panels to avoid reading flat — shadow tones in the recesses, brighter steel on raised surfaces. Copper-toned missile pod covers and amber verniers break the monotone with warm metallic accents that feel like exposed hardware rather than decoration.
Then there's the sheer mass of it. The Full Armor configuration buries the RX-78 beneath layers of additional plating, weapons, and ordnance — missile clusters, an oversized beam rifle, and enough supplementary armour to make every other MG on the shelf look lightly equipped. This is a war machine built for a debris field, and it looks every bit the part.
